Azerbaijan Georgia Turkey to Sign Security Treaty

BAKU (Armenpress)–Azerbaijan–Georgia and Turkey will sign a trilateral security agreement next year–according to the Prime-News correspondent reporting from Baku.

The agency quoted Turkey’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Unal Cevikoz as saying that the agreement will provide these countries with a new chance to establish a coalition in the fight against terrorism and to prevent the illegal distribution and trafficking of illegal products.

According to him–Turkey–which fulfilled the project on reconstruction of Georgian Marneuli military airdrome–may undertake steps to implement such a project in Azerbaijan as well.

The Ambassador also mentioned that any military cooperation among Turkey–Azerbaijan and Georgia is not directed against any third countries.
