PACE Information Center Not Feasible in Karabakh

BAKU (Armenpress)–Political analysts in the Azeri capital of Baku believe that opening an independent information center in Nagorno Karabakh by a Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE)–as is the case with Chechnya–would add to confidence-building measures and also benefit Azerbaijan’s interests.

However–Mubariz Ahmedogli–head of a Center for Political Innovations and Technologies said to a Baku-based Olailar news agency that "it is not feasible in Karabakh," as the Council of Europe has been closely following the developmen’s in Chechnya–failing to do the same in Karabakh.
