Armenian Airlines Rents Russian Aircraft

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–It has been a week since Armenian Airlines has rented a TU-154MA aircraft from the Russian Federation in order to operate flights to Europe. This step was taken because of the wreck of Airbus A-310 aircraft’s engine–which was operating flights to European countries.

No one in Armenian Airlines was able to estimate how long the repair of the engine would last and how long the Russian TU-154MA would be operate these flights to European countries.

The head of General Department of Armenian Airlines Dashian said that all these questions can be answered only by the company’s director who is presently in Moscow and will be back by the end of this week.
