Armenian Ambassador Hands His Credentials to Greek President

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s Ambassador to Greece Vahram Kajoyan handed his credentials to Greek President Constantinos Stephanopulos on February 8.

According to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Public Relations Department–the sides discussed the process of the Karabakh settlement and the upcoming visit of the OSCE Minsk Group cochairmen to the region. President Stephanopulos also inquired about the course of economic reforms in Armenia and the current status of the country’s compliance with the OSCE membership requiremen’s. The Ambassador presented detailed explanations on the mentioned issues to the Greek leader.

The sides also discussed issues regarding the Armenia-Greece-Iran trilateral cooperation–questions pertaining to the Armenian Diaspora–in particular–the Armenian community of Greece.
