OSCE Minsk Group to Visit Region With New Proposal on Peace Process

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen are scheduled to visit the region next month. According to Azatutyun–they are going to suggest a completely new option for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict to the governmen’s of Armenia–Azerbaijan and Karabakh.

The co-chairman of OSCE Minsk group Nikolay Gribkov of Russia informed Azeri reporters that the visit of the co-chairmen to the region will take place only "if we are sure that it will strengthen the process of negotiations. We presented many suggestions to be discussed by the sides. We think that the Karabakh conflict is unique and its settlement should be such."

Co-Chairman Rudolf Perina of the US said–"I hope that our next visit will take place in the nearest future. We have completely new ideas concerning various fields and we will present them to the sides."
