Sachaklian to be Buried At Arlington Cemetery

NEW YORK–Long-time Armenian Revolutionary Federation leader and a community activist–Col. Harry Sachaklian–who passed away on Feb. 17–will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

A retired officer of the United States military–Sachaklian was a generous and outstanding member of the Armenian American community–an esteemed national delegate to the Prelacy’s National Representative Assembly–and a Knight of Cilicia.

The Eastern Prelacy reported that Prelate Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan will preside over the funeral services–including the Funeral Vigil on Monday–March 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Gawlers Funeral Home in Washington and burial services on Tuesday–March 12–10:30 a.m. at Post Chapel–Fort Myer followed by interment at Arlington National Cemetery–Arlington–Va.
