Head of Armenian Church Leaves for Bulgaria

ECHMIADZIN (Armenpress)–On the morning of June 24–His Holiness Karekin II–Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenia’s–departed for Bulgaria for an official visit. His Holiness has been invited by Patriarch Maxim of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and the Armenian community of Bulgaria.

During the six-day visit–His Holiness will have the opportunity to meet state–political and religious figures–as well as the Armenian community of Bulgaria.

The Catholicos of All Armenia’s is accompanied by His Grace Bishop Yeznik Petrossian–Director of Inter-Church Relations for the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin; Supreme Spiritual Council Lay Member Rafael Hambartsumian; and Staff-bearer Deacon Artur Karapetian.
