Chamlian Successfully Passes Accreditation

GLENDALE–In a letter dated June 27–2002–and addressed to the administration of Chamlian Armenian School–WASC has informed that the school’s accreditation has been extended by 6 years–which is the maximum possible.

The team visit–which took place in March of 2002–was concluded a few days later on a very positive note–but the official letter arrived only recently.

"We were confident–but it is nice to hear it officially," said Assistant to the Principal Rita Kaprielian.

"What is even more encouraging is that the follow up visit which usually is scheduled three years down the line–has been replaced by a report–which will be sent to the Committee. This is unprecedented," said Principal Vazken Madenlian.
