National Democratic Union Delegation in Karabakh

STEPANAKERT (Armenpress)–The delegation of the National Democratic Union (NDU)–led by the head of the party Vazgen Manukian–arrived in Nagorno Karabakh on July 20 for a three-day visit.

The delegation met with Karabakh President Arkady Ghoukassian–Prime Minister Anushavan Danielian–Head of the Karabakh Diocese Archbishop Pargev Martirosian and head of the Karabakh Democratic Union Ashot Ghulian.

Among topics discussing during the meetings included the Karabakh conflict and approaches to its regulation–the economic development of Karabakh and problems of cooperation with Armenia–and internal political developmen’s in Armenia and Karabakh.

The political importance of the upcoming presidential elections in Karabakh–as well as the participation of observers from NDU was also underlined.
