YEREVAN (ARKA)–President Kocharian stated today that a regular meeting with the President Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev is set to take place in early October in Kishinyev–and simply said that his previous meeting with Aliyev held in Sadarak was ‘interesting.’ The Kishinyev meeting will be held in the terms of the CIS summit to be held on Oct. 6-7.
Speaking on the groundless accusations made by Azerbaijan at the 57th session of UN General Assembly–Kocharian said: "they [such statemen’s] are not new; the Azerbaijani side always escalates the situation whereas the Armenian side is more reserved in its statemen’s."
On Sept. 15 Azerbaijan’s foreign minister Guliyev in his statement to the 57th session of the UN–accused Armenia of "camouflaging its annexationist policy by appeals to the principle of the right of peoples to self-determination."
