Torosian’s Arrest Has Political Motives

JAVAKHK (Yerkir)–The arrest of Fedia Torosian–member of the Virk party and one of the founders of the ‘Javakhk’ movement–raised concern for political and public organizations in Javakhk.

An active public figure in Javakhk since 1988–Torosian was officially charged with negligence in handling financial papers while serving as the head of a power distribution company in the Akhalkalak region of Georgia. Political and public organizations of Javakhk–however–think that Torosian’s arrest has political motives.
