ARF Media Forum Opens in Yerevan

YEREVAN (Yerkir)–Delegates representing various Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) media from around the world gathered in Yerevan on Monday for the opening of the ARF Media Forum. ARF Bureau Chairman Hrant Markarian opened the gathering taking place at the ARF Simon Vratsian center.

Convened periodically–the forums traditionally discuss and analyze the current state of the ARF media.

The first day of the forum was dedicated to the current situation of ARF publications and related problems. The delegates underscored the critical role of ARF publications in developing Armenian political thinking–culture–and preserving the Armenian identity. The importance of utilizing new approaches and up-to-date technologies was also emphasized.

The forum will run for three days.
