Krasnodar Court Delays Hearings

KRASNODAR (Yerkir)–The trial on the vandalism of the Krasnodar Armenian cemetery was once again delayed because the defense attorney did not appear in the court–according the Yerkramas–an Armenian Russian language newspaper of Southern Russia. The trial was postponed earlier to allow one of the defendants to undergo psychological testing.

About thirty youth are accused of vandalizing the Armenian cemetery in April of 2002; nine of them are currently standing trial; two are in custody. Eleven attorneys are involved in the case.
