Armenia Azerbaijan Meet in Vienna

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–President Kocharian’s personal representative in the peace talks on the Karabagh conflict settlement–Armenian deputy foreign minister Tatul Markaryan left yesterday for Vienna to participate in the third regular meeting with his Azeri counterpart. The meeting will take place today.

Markarian will return to Yerevan on November 16.

"We do not expect that the meeting of Armenian and Azeri deputy foreign ministers will result in some new developmen’s. The agenda of the meeting includes issues concerning the meeting of OSCE member countries’ ministers and the deputy foreign ministers who will try to find mutually acceptable solution for it," said Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian referring to the meeting between the two representatives.

He also said that during the regular meeting of OSCE member countries’ ministers scheduled for December 6-7 in the French city of Bordeaux–a general political statement–referring to the Karabagh issue–will be approved.
