Former Kuban Governor Continues Extremist Remarks

KRASNODAR(Yerkir)–Contrary to official statemen’s–the Russian city Karsnodar still holds anti-Armenian sentimen’s.

During a session of the Rodina–a public and political movement of Krasnodar–the former governor of the Kuban Nikolay Kondratenko announced that half of the students enrolled in schools in the Russian sea-resort city of Adler are ethnic Armenia’s–revealing that Russia’s are losing Adler to Armenia’s.

Kondratenko blamed deputy candidate and former Adler regional executive Azat Asaturov–an ethnic Armenian–for this ‘unacceptable demographic picture.’ Kondratenko claims that while at the Adler Regional Executive office–Asaturov supported illegal registration of Armenia’s–which resulted in a dramatic increase of Armenia’s residing in the area.

The newspaper of Southern Russia’s Armenia’s "Yergramas," notes that Kondratenko–when governor– fired Asaturov from the regional executive office of Adler and Sochi. Referring to another member of Rodina movement– ethnic Armenian Ervand Yahli–Kondratenko while stressing his contributions and strengths–did not endorse Yahli as a deputy candidate in the upcoming regional legislature body elections–which according to him would create splinters within the Rodina.

Yergramas concludes that Rodina’s failure to endorse Ervand Yahli could only be explained by his ethnicity.
