YEREVAN (PanARMENIAN.Net)–The "Times" newspaper of Britain recently published an article "Europe Next," which reports that investigations reveal Arabs trained in "Al Qaeda" camps enter Europe via the territory of Azerbaijan. The Times article states that routes to execute terrorist acts within Europe are being prepared–and that these routes will be via Azerbaijan or Turkey where branches of the organization led by Osama Bin Laden are operating now.
According to PanArmenian.Net–the Foreign Ministry of the United Kingdom issued a travel warning to citizens explaining that British citizens going to Azerbaijan have to be very careful–as it is known that there are terrorist groups operating there. The Australian government released similar warnings to its citizens traveling to Azerbaijan.
Baku also admits a threat to foreign visitors. The press there has attempted to uncover possible terrorist targets. In an interview with the "Echo" newspaper–the Vice President of the "Trust" security company of Azerbaijan–Emil Suleymanov states that according to his analysis–hotels–restauran’s and pizzerias situated in the center of the city–the network of bistros in Fountain Square–where guests of the city often go–as well as the Central Supermarket–schools and Universities can be included in the group of the high risk areas.
