Redeployment of Russian Military From Georgia to Armenia Arranged

YEREVAN (PanARMENIAN.Net)–At a meeting between Russian and Georgian military experts–arrangemen’s were made as to the order and method of redeploying of some Russian military units from Georgia to Armenia. As reported by the "Arminfo" agency–the commander of the group of Russian troops in Transcaucasia lieutenant general Nikolay Zolotov said–"we managed to address a number of issues–particularly that of speeding up the removal of some ammunition from the Russian military depot situated in Georgian region of Sagarejo–and sending it to Russia." Meanwhile–as reported by the "ITAR-TASS" agency–the position of the parties regarding the time-frame for withdrawal of Russian military bases from Batumi and Akhalkalaki remain the same; as before–Russia insists on a eleven year time-frame–while Georgia limits it to a three year period.
