Armenian Scientist to Be Presented for Nobel Prize

MOSCOW (Noyan-Tapan)–According to the Moscow-based "Novaya Gazeta" newspaper–Yuri Hovhanissian–the director of the Russian Nuclear Research Institute is among eleven Russian scientists in physics–chemistry end medicine who hold the greatest chance to be presented for a Nobel prize. Hovhanissian heads a group of scientists who work to synthesize extra heavy elemen’s. Younger than the earth–those elemen’s are not included in the periodic table of elemen’s and have yet to be discovered.
