Armenian Delegation to Depart for Pro Armenia Conference

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–An Armenian parliament delegation–led by chairman Armen Khachatrian–will depart for Paris on January 31 to participate in the Pro-Armenia conference–organized by the ANC European body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation–European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy.

The conference will take place in the French Senate Hall–and will bring together officials from a range of countries–as well as senior members of the Armenian Diaspora to discuss a variety of Armenian issues.

Representatives of more than twenty countries including Russia–USA–Argentina–Canada–and Lebanon as well as foreign ministers–ambassadors–members of parliament–political leaders and intellectuals will participate. Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vartan Oskanian–members of the ARF Bureau–Catholicos Aram I–former Argentine President Raul Alfonsin and Vice-Speaker of the Russian Duma Artur Chilingarov–and ethnic Armenian members of Georgian and Ukrainian parliamen’s are among the participants.

Oskanian–along with conference organizers–will conduct a press conference on January 31 at the Hotel Le Faubourg.

Conference topics will include Armenia and Armenia’s in The 21st Century–Armenia’s Integration into the Caucasus Economy-Challenging Globalization–and The Armenian Question-The Genocide and The 21st Century.
