ACAA Announces Trust Fund for ‘Armenian Review’

WATERTOWN–MA–The Armenian Cultural Association of America (ACAA) is pleased to announce the establishment of a $250,000 trust fund to assist in the publication of The Armenian Review. The trust has been made possible through a generous gift by Mrs. Alice Sachaklian and has been named the "Col. Harry and Alice Sachaklian Armenian Review Fund."

For over half a century–Mrs. Sachaklian and her late husband–Col. Harry Sachaklian–have played a significant role in the Armenian-American community–offering both leadership and support to institutions such as the Hairenik Association–the Eastern Prelacy–and AYF Camp Haiastan. Mrs. Sachaklian’s gift was made public following a January 22 announcement during the ACAA Armenian Heritage Cruise by Endowment Fund Trustee Bedros Bandazian. The announcement was made in the presence of Mrs. Sachaklian and was met with widespread acclaim.

Annual proceeds from the fund will be allocated to The Armenian Review–the Massachusetts-based journal of Armenian affairs.
