YEREVAN (Armenpress)-Armenian police released on Friday the name of a person wanted by police in connection with the murder of Tigran Naghdalian.
The person at large is identified as Hovhannes "Aper" Harutiunian–48–of Yerevan–and is being sought on charges of premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances–and theft of fire-arms–ammunition or explosives.
Six others are already under custody in connection with the murder.
The Prosecutor General’s office also said that Naghdalian’s killing on December 28–2002 is linked to his professional activity as Head of Armenian Public TV.
Naghdalian–who strongly backed President Robert Kocharian–was found fatally wounded in the building’s entrance after a single shot in the head.
