YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Following an agreement reached during the last session of the Armenian-Russian inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation–which took place in the beginning of February in Yerevan–an Armenian-Russian Investment forum will be held in Yerevan May 20.
A Russian delegation consisting of 80 representatives of leading Russian companies and public organizations and led by Minister Industry–Science and Technology Ilya Klebanov are due in Armenia on May 19.
The forum will create an opportunity for businessmen of the two countries to expand cooperation and utilize existing laws to spark new investment programs and form trade deals.
The Russian delegation is scheduled to meet with Armenian president Robert Kocharian and prime minister Andranik Margarian.
