Armenia’s Diplomatic Representatives at Western Prelacy

The Consul General of the Republic of Armenia to the US Valery Mkrtoumian–visited the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America on September 25–along with the newly appointed Consul General Gagik Kirakossian

His Eminence Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian and representatives of the Religious and Executive Councils of the Prelacy–Fr. Ardag Demirjian–Fr. Ashod Kambourian–Noubar Chorbajian and Mher Der Hovhannessian–received the guests.

Consul General Mkrtoumian introduced the newly appointed Consul General–and bid farewell on the occasion of his transfer to a new position.

Arch. Mardirossian and Prelacy representatives thanked Mkrtoumian for his services as a representative of the Republic of Armenia–wishing him success in his endeavors. They also welcomed the newly appointed Kirakossian–expressing confidence that the fruitful cooperation between the Armenian Consulate and the Prelacy–generally the Armenian Community–would further flourish.

Discussions centered around the mission and the projects of the Prelacy in serving the Armenian Community of Western United States–as well as the Armenian Apostolic Church and our Homeland.
