Hovhannisian Praises Preservation of Armenian Monumen’s

YEREVAN (Yerkir)–During a meeting with the Organization to Study Armenian Architecture that took place at the National Academy of Sciences on October 27–Parliament Deputy Chairman and ARF Bureau member Vahan Hovhannisian–praised the organization for its work–extending full cooperation.

"I am ready to cooperate with you in formulating laws complementing the preservation of Armenian culture. What you do is irreplaceable," Hovhannisian said. "The books you have published have helped Armenian diplomats raise the issue–throughout international organizations–of the need to protect Armenian cultural antiquities."

The organization has operated for 30 years to publish with its funds–numerous books–including those that register–document–and study cultural antiquities located on territories outside of Armenia.
