Armenian Social Service Agency Turns Ten

YEREVAN (YERKIR)–In a series of events marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment Armenia’s Social Security Agency–Social Security Minister Aghvan Vardanian met with journalists on Tuesday–to award certificates of appreciation to several journalists for their objective and comprehensive coverage of the sector.

"The ten-year road has been long and difficult–but has resulted in establishing a stable social services system," said Vardanian.

US Agency for International Development project director Brian Kirn–on hand to congratulate the minister and journalists covering the sector–stressed–" The Armenian people need more work and not poverty benefits."
