In continuing its mission to support Armenian schools–the Lincy Foundation once again allocated $530,000 to Western Prelacy Armenian schools for the school year 2003-2004.
Renowned for its charitable mission to provide moral and financial assistance to both the Armenian Diaspora and the homeland with timely and generous donations–the Lincy Foundation specified the following financial disbursemen’s: Ferrahian Armenian High School–Encino $100,000; Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School–Hollywood $100,000; Mesrobian Armenian School–Montebello $100,000;Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School–Glendale $100,000; Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School–Orange County $50,000; Krouzian Zakarian Vasbouragan Armenian School–San Francisco $50,000; Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian School–Pasadena $25,000; Richard Tufenkian Armenian School–Glendale $5,000.
Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian conveyed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Lincy Foundation and its management for their dedicated services to all Armenia’s. "We would like to stress that–for many years now–the Lincy Foundation has been providing invaluable moral and financial support to the schools operating under the jurisdiction of the Western Prelacy–and participate in the implementation of their sacred mission to educate our younger generations in the spirit of our national heritage and the values of humanity."
The Prelate also passed along the gratitude of the Prelacy Religious and Executive Councils–Board of Regents of Prelacy Armenian Schools and its Education and Finance Councils–the Administrations–and the Education and Financial Committees.
"May God reward the Administration of the Lincy Foundation with His grace and bless their charitable and humanitarian endeavors," said Archbishop Mardirossian.
