Council of Venezuelan Catholic Churches Adopts Resolution on Armenian Genocide

ANTELIAS (Armenpress)–The Council of Venezuelan Catholic Churches unanimously adopted on August 3 a resolution condemning the Armenian genocide.

The resolution reads partly–"We condemn the inhuman deed against Armenian people and pray that such things will never happen again. We bless the memory of those Christian Armenia’s who preferred death to apostasy. We express our readiness to support Armenia’s–representatives of the Armenian community in Venezuela and to Armenian Apostolic Church and protect their fair deman’s which were ignored for a very long time."
