Kocharian Will Not Meet Erdogan in Denmark

YEREVAN (Yerkir)–Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not meet in Denmark–as the Armenian leader will not be attending the NATO Parliamentary Assembly 51st annual session in Copenhagen–November 11-15.

Although both the Armenian President and Turkish Prime Minister were invited to take part in the assembly–Kocharian did not accept the invitation. The President’s Press Service confirmed that Kocharian’s visit to Denmark was not planned.

Earlier–Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said that talks with Turkey make no sense "as Ankara does not change its stand."
