Second Pan Armenian Educational Conference to Begin Next Week

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The Second Pan-Armenian educational conference will convene from August 18 to 21 in Tsakhkadzor–with more than 81 participants from 19 countries. Tamara Zalinian–the head of the Diaspora department of the Education and Science Ministry–said 25 applications have been received from Iran–14 from Russia and 10 from Syria. She said directors of Diaspora and Armenian educational institutions–teachers and other specialists of within the field of education are going to participate in the conference. Zalinian said the goal of the program is to discuss and find solutions to educational and child rearing issues as well as to consolidate Armenia-Diaspora ties. The conference is conducted once every two years. >
