Minsk Group Co-Chairs Arrive in Armenia

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The Russian and French cochairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group arrived in Yerevan Tuesday for another round of shuttle diplomacy for the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The US embassy in Yerevan said the American cochairman, Matthew Bryza, will not join Yury Merzlyakov of Russia and Bernard Fassier of France because of scheduling conflicts. While in Yerevan the international peace brokers are scheduled to meet with president Robert Kocharian and foreign minister Vartan Oskanian. They will then fly to Baku. In both capitals they will also discuss whether presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan should have another meeting in the sidelines of the November 28 CIS summit in Minsk, Belarus.
