Car Bomb Damages Armenian Diocese, Church in Baghdad

BAGHDAD–An Iraqi insurgent car bomb Tuesday severely damaged the Armenian Diocesan Headquarters and the Armenian church in Baghdad. The car bomb exploded 50 meters away from the two buildings, causing heavy structural damage, Baruyr Hagopian, a member of the Iraq’s Diocesan Executive Council told the Aztag newspaper in Beirut. No injuries to Diocese and staff were reported since the blast occurred early in the morning.
