Chamlian Students Win Big at Science Olympiad

Sunday, April 15, 2007 was a proud day for Chamlian. That afternoon, the Chamlian team, comprised of Garen Arabian, Patil Malatian, John Azizian and Lisa Oghlian, participated in the Armenian History Timeline contest at the Ararat home and won the third prize among eight other schools. The students came back with a trophy and a monetary gift for the School. Later that afternoon at California State University Northridge, the award ceremony of Armenian Science Olympiad organized by AESA ( Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America) took place. Here again Chamlian students excelled and took several awards. Krikor Bornazian: First Place Junior Physical Science Garen Arabian: 3rd Place Junior Physical Science Davit Javadian: 3rd Place Junior Physical Science John Azizian: 3rd Place Life Science Shaunt Kouyoumdjian: Honorable Mention Lida Gevorkian, our Science teacher received the "Science teacher of the year " award. All in all a proud day for the Chamlian School Family.
