TBILISI (Armenpress)–The European Union has helped to build an agricultural service center in the town of Akhalkalak in the Armenian-populated Javakhk region of Georgia. The Center was inaugurated by Per Eklund, head of the European Commission delegation to Georgia. The European Commission allocated 160,000 euros to fund the Center’s construction and furnishing. The Center was established in cooperation with ten local farmers’ associations and will provide various services to about 2,500 entrepreneurs.
