LONDON–Another important milestone on the road to the United Kingdom’s recognition of the Genocide was registered Tuesday, when Parliament Member Glenda Jackson became the 150th House of Commons member to co-sign “Early Day Motion 357, recognizing the Truth of the Genocide which our parents, grandparents and other relatives endured during the years of 1915-23,” the British Armenian All-Party Parliamentary Group informs.
This motion, introduced by Member of Parliament Bob Spink has put the Armenian Genocide issue at the forefront of international issues on which other parliament members have shown concern.
