Homenetmen Ararat Member Wins 2 Gold Medals at Pan-Armenian Games

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Homenetmen’s Ararat’s Johnny Der-Yeghiayan won teo gold medals at the Pan-Armenian Games, which kicked off on Saturday in Yerevan.
His two medals were for 50-meter and 100-meter dash in the track & field competition.
Athletes from 19 cities won medals at the 4th All-Armenian Games. In team competitions Armenia was in the first place having 11 gold, eight silver and five bronze medals. In second place is the team from Vanadzor having four gold, five silver and two bronze medals. Glendale is ranked third with Der-Yeghiayan’s two gold medals. The team from Artashat was in fourth place with one gold and two silver medals, Kapan was in fifth place with one gold and bronze medals, Akhaltskha was in sixth place with one gold and three bronze medals, Tehran in seventh place with one gold and two bronze medals tying with Gumri.
The Pan-Armenian Games continue through Friday.
