YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan) The Armenian Revolutionary Federation will enter into opposition if the February 19 presidential elections are undemocratic, Spartak Seyranian, a spokesperson for the ARF Supreme Body of Armenia’said Monday during a press conference.
According to Seyranian, two opposing poles have emerged in Armenian politics and the nation’s political processes will revolve around these two poles in the future. Seyranian, however, noted that the there is still a chance that the presidential elections in February might see the development of a multi-polar political landscape, in which case the current "black and white perception will disappear."
In the meantime, Seyranian added, the ARF is ready to carry out a serious ideological campaign during the elections so as to prevent the polarization of society.
Commenting on the ARF’s platform, Seyranian noted that there will not be a major change from the program presented during the Parliamentary elections.
