Armenian Church in Glendale Vandalized

GLENDALE –The Star and Crescent Moon of the Turkish Flag was painted on the Church wall of Glendale’s St. Peter’s Armenian Church, Glendale Police officers reported Monday. The case was cited as an instance of vandalism and hate crime.
St. Peter’s, located on 632 W. Stocker had graffiti on its church wall, reported a member of the church clergy. Officers observed the star and a crescent moon painted in red on the west block wall of the church adjacent to the sidewalk.
No information on a possible suspect or suspects has been disclosed.
