YEREVAN (Armradio)–The Armenian Republic Organization Cultural Corporation with Foreign Countries presented Thursday a new edition of "Aram’s Diary," a novel about the Armenian Genocide by famous Catalonian poet Maria Angels Anglada.
Anglada (1930-1999) was professor of classical philology at the Secondary College in Barcelona. "Aram’s Diary," first published in 1997, was her last expanded work. It is based on personal notes, historical testimonies, documen’s, and literary works provided by mother and son survivors of the Genocide.
When it was published, "Aram’s Novel," received great acclaim in Catalonia and Spain.
Media and critics alike commended the novel, unanimously calling it a "truthful and striking documentary on the Armenian Genocide." The novel’s hero’s critic’s said, conveyed real emotions making the book an exquisite read.
