Many members and supporters have asked us to establish scholarships worldwide and have been generous donors to this cause. AEF has two categories of scholarships: Endowment Scholarship Funds and Individual Scholarships.

New Program: Four year University Scholarship
In 2007, AEF initiated a new project to provide 4-year university scholarships in Armenia. We started this pilot project seeking benefactors who would join us in sponsoring $1,000 per year scholarships for university students. In 2007, thirty-three scholarships were awarded. In 2008 our goal is to provide 25 additional students with a full 4-year scholarship of $1,000 per year.
Since 1950, the Armenian Educational Foundation, Inc. (AEF) has been the backbone of the Armenian educational movement, worldwide. It has lent a helping hand to hundreds of students and to countless schools throughout the world. During its 58 years of giving, the AEF has proven to be one of the most enduring and productive organizations of the Armenian Diaspora.
The AEF’s fundamental aim has always been the advancement of the Armenian heritage through its support of education. Its great successes have earned the organization widespread respect, recognition, and appreciation.
Over the past half a century, the AEF has grown into a thriving organization with a diverse membership of dedicated individuals. The AEF welcomes in its ran’s anyone who shares the commitment of its founding members, and especially those who can bring new energy and fresh ideas to the organization.
As the AEF looks with optimism towards the future, it hopes to be of even greater assistance to students of Armenian lineage pursuing higher education, as well as to continue providing financial help to educational institutions in Armenia, the United States, and around the world.
