Baku Deman’s Russia End its ‘Support’ to Armenia

BAKU (Combined Sources)–A spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Monday demanded Russia’stop providing what he said was military assistance to Armenia.

Referring to Armenia as an “aggressor,” Khazar Ibrahim called on Russia to put an end to its alleged military support of Armenia, and accused the two countries of working together within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

He also called on Russia “to be more impartial in the Karabakh process and not to forget about its mediating mission in the OSCE Minsk Group, Azeri media reports say.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict settlement process has been put under exceptional strain in recent months as Azerbaijan continues to threaten Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh with an "eminent war."
