YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia’s Prime Minister will lead a delegation of Government ministers to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on Friday for a two-day working visit that will include a joint government session focusing on the bilateral relations of the two republics.
Tigran Sargsyan’s delegation will comprise of the ministers of agriculture, culture, energy and natural resources, labor and social affairs, education and science.
According to the Government’s press office, Sargsyan will meet with The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s President Bako Sahakian and Prime Minister Ara Harutyunian. The Armenian Premier’s delegation will take part in a joint session of government with Harutyunian’s Government that will summarize the results of discussions among the ministers over a set of issues of bilateral interest.
Sargsyan and his delegation will also join Karabakh Government officials in visiting the monument dedicated to the victims and heroes of the Karabakh Liberation struggle.
The Armenian Premier will then visit the city of Shushi where he will inspect the status of its infrastructure and the ongoing construction projects, as well as meet with the Shushi Revival Fund to discuss its progress and goals.
About 30 Armenian youth participating in “Let us learn democracy” project headed by “the Future is Yours” charity organization will also be visiting Karabakh as part of Sargsyan’s visit.
