On May 31, the ANCA Endowment Fund will be hosting a special nationwide telethon aimed at galvanizing the community around its ongoing grassroots initiatives. Under the banner of “One Nation – One Future – One Cause,” the 6-hour telethon will mobilize support for the unparalleled civic and educational efforts tirelessly carried out by the ANCA 365 days a year.
One of the most valuable components of this year-round service is the investment it makes in the foundation for our future: the youth. Two hallmark programs of the ANCA in this respect are the “Leo Sarkisian” Summer Internship and the Capital Gateway Program.
For over twenty-five years, the ANCA Leo Sarkisian Summer Internship has consistently provided generations of Armenian American youth the opportunity to explore the inner workings of the American political system. This eight-week intensive public affairs internship brings together student leaders and activists from across North America for a series of in-depth lectures and interactive workshops from highly acclaimed guest speakers and public policy professionals. Interns are also assigned specially tailored projects and attend various conferences and hearings featuring national figures on issues of concern to the Armenian American community.
Building upon the success of the “Leo Sarkisian” Internship, the ANCA launched its pioneering Capital Gateway Program in 2003 to help qualified students attain interesting internships and challenging full-time public policy jobs in the nation’s capital. To date, over fifty fellows have gone through the program and secured positions in dozens of Congressional offices, as well as esteemed media and political institutions such as Congressional Quarterly, the US Chamber of Commerce, Export-Import Bank (EXIM), SRCP Media and the World Bank.
As the momentum and success of each of these unique programs steadily builds, the onus is on each and everyone of us to lend our support and ensure an even brighter future for our community and our Cause.

Hello
I think in 2007 the Armenia Fund Telethon had the same theme as your Telethon: “One Nation, One Future”. Maybe you should have thought of a different theme?
I hope you have a very successful telethon.
Armenia Fund’s theme was One Nation One Future.
