Sayat Nova Dance Company to Perform in Los Angeles

Sayat Nova Female Dancers
The well known Sayat Nova Dance Company of Boston (SNDC) will bring its dynamic performance of “Power In Rhythm” to the Los Angeles, CA area on November 8, 2009 at the Glendale High School Auditorium, 1440 Broadway, Glendale, CA at 5 PM.

Members of the Company will entertain and inspire their audience through an artistic weave of Armenian dance, music, and theatrical landscapes. Adorned in stunning and colorful costumes, over sixty members of the dance troupe will bring to life the strength, passion, and determination that so beautifully characterize the Armenian people and culture.

As with any performing arts group, presentation is intrinsic to Sayat Nova Dance Company’s purpose. It “preserves and promotes” the Armenian culture by presenting it to others through the medium of dance; the more it dances, the more it achieves its mission. In its 24th year now,  SNDC stands strong and is poised more than ever to carve its place in the world of Armenian dance.

Dramatic lighting, stage props, unparalleled energy, elaborate costumes, and a large group of dedicated dancers magnify the experience of watching the Sayat Nova Dance Company perform on November 8, 2009. The Southern Californian audience will have the unique opportunity to watch and experience the unforgettable performance of “Power In Rhythm” by SNDC members. It is an evening not to be missed!
