Nalbandian Discusses Stronger Ties with New Georgian Envoy

YEREVAN (Armradio)—Georgia’s newly appointed ambassador to Armenia presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian on Monday, ahead of talks focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighbors, reported the state-run Armradio news website.

Congratulating Ambassador Gregory Tabatadze on his appointment, Nalbandian expressed hope that he would make an important contribution to the “deepening, reinforcement, and development of mutually beneficial Armenian-Georgian cooperation.”

In their talks, the two diplomats “exchanged views on a number of regional issues” and “discussed a wide range of issues related to the promotion of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres,” Armradio said.
