After winning the best “International Album” at the Armenian Music Awards for their CD “Oo,” Element Band will be hitting the stage at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Christmas Eve for the 50TH Annual LA Holiday Celebration.
“It’s been a whirlwind year. What an honor for the band to have been asked to be a part of this Los Angeles tradition, and to be the first Armenian band to do so,” explained Element Band director Ara Dabandjian.
The Emmy-nominated cultural extravaganza is L.A.’s biggest holiday show and features 40 groups this year. It will be broadcast from 3 to 9 p.m. on KCET Christmas Eve, December 24.
Element Band is expected to perform at around 5 p.m.
