The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is a land rich with water, with dozens of rivers flowing through the rich mountainous terrain. But access to life’s most precious resource is an ongoing problem for more than 200 villages in Artsakh.
With no water infrastructure in place, village residents are forced to manually trek to rivers, lakes or reservoirs to collect their water in small tanks and containers to use for laundry, cooking, washing, drinking and irrigating.
Unfortunately, the unpurified water often causes diseases in these villages. Without a constant supply of clean, reliable water, maintaining a healthy, large family–let alone a village–is difficult to say the least.
That is why, ALL Armenians should, must, and will unite this year worldwide to donate and help build the critical water irrigation lines that our brothers and sisters in Arstakh need to thrive! $20, $50, or even $100 will not kill anyone’s chances of becoming the next Warren Buffet plus you’ll feel great about it afterwards, so OPEN your wallets and skip a weekend out on the town for a great cause and put all of your irrational and falsely placed skepticism aside for a great cause, you’ll be glad that you did afterwards.
