The KOHAR Symphony Orchestra and Choir will be performing with the stars of Armenia on May 28, 2011 at the Liberty Square Opera in Yerevan, Armenia. The lineup will include Tata Simonyan, Arame, Andre, Arsen, Safaryan, Eva Rivas, Hayko, Inga & Anush Arshakyans, Nune Yesayan Roland Gasparyan, Shushan Petrosyan, Zaruhi Babaian and Leyla Saripekyan.

A young Armenian-American animator and radio-podcast host is developing a free iPhone App dedicated to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The “Armenian Monument” app, produced by the 30-year-old creator and host of Raw Radio, Alex Nisanian, will be the first complete iPhone app on Genocide recognition.

In 2008, Kobe Bryant was a strong voice calling for an end to the genocide in Darfur, But today, he has signed a deal to represent the Republic of Turkey, which denies any genocide in Darfur and is the infamous perpetrator of the first Genocide of the 20th century. In May 27, 2008 Bryant made a public service announcement through the Los Angeles-based non-profit Aid Still Required, urging action to unite and end the Genocide in Darfur.
