United Human Rights Council Pays Tribute To Struggle For Freedom in Turkey

The continued struggle for freedom of the speech in Turkey and those who continue to struggle to have their say were two of the themes addressed at the second annual Opposite of Silence event organized by the United Human Rights Council (UHRC) on January 15. This tribute to human rights activists in Turkey also marked the third anniversary of the assassination of Hrant Dink.

AYF Briefs Youth on Second Phase of Anti-Protocols Campaign

On November 4th, over 100 members of the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) and ARF Shant Student Association (SSA) packed the halls of the Pasadena Armenian Center for a special discussion regarding the Armenia-Turkey protocols. The meeting was called by the AYF Central Executive in order to evaluate recent developments and outline the next steps in the campaign to stop the protocols.

Burbank AYF Bowling Night Supports Youth Corps Programs in Armenia

Over 50 young Armenia’s came together from across Southern California Wednesday to give their support to the Armenian Youth Federation’s Youth Corps program, raising funds for its summer camp in Armenia with an evening of bowling at Glendale’s Jewel City Bowl.
