(Hurriyet)–Turkey’s Special Envoy to Iraq–Oguz Celikkol–met with Kurdish leader Mesut Barzani to discuss Turkey’s stance on the Kurdish Regional Authority based in Kirkuk–as well as the growing sectarian violence across Iraq. (EU Politix)–The European Union (EU) has approved a controversial aid package of 139 million Euro for the internationally unrecognized Turkish Cypriot state in northern Cyprus.
Aid is aimed at improving the infrastructure of the poor area–in a deal that was approved by EU foreign ministers Monday.

YEREVAN (Yerkir/Armenpress)–Political parties represented in the Armenian Parliament issued a statement Monday–condemning the anti-Armenian policies of Azerbaijan and the recent destruction of Armenian monumen’s in Julfa–Nakhichevan.

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–A proposal titled–"Recognition of the Armenian Genocide Committed between 1915-1922 in the Ottoman Empire," was presented in the Bulgarian parliament by the ATAKA parliamentary faction.
The proposal–already signed by 12 members of parliament–is now facing opposition from Turkish members of the Bulgarian parliament.
