Stars Rock Hollywood For Sam Kbushyan

HOLLYWOOD—On August 9 a full packed Taglyan Hall echoed the sounds of Armenian Stars and Artists. Armenian Stars and Sam Kbushyan brought the entire community together for a fundraiser that included Who’s Who in the Armenian-American Entertainment industry: Armenchik, Andy, Razmik Mansuryan, Ruben Harutyunyan, Armen Aloyan, and mainstream Hollywood Actor/Filmmaker Jack Topalian on the center stage.

Some 450 guests and supporters who applauded for the Armenian-American Stars to support the candidacy of Sam Kbushyan for Los Angeles City Council District 13. The night was filled with energy and joy celebrating Kbushyan’s commitment to Los Angeles City. Kbushyan was thrilled to see everyone stand tall and support his campaign, saying “it is a joyful evening filled with elegance and community activism. He also emphasized the importance of registering new voters and instilling sense of civic pride for the community members.”

Kbushyan explained to the guests to get out the vote and spread the message to everyone in the community. As the energy filled the Taglyan Hall, Artists reached for the microphone and recorded their full support for Sam Kbushyan. They all testified their friendship and lengthy history working with Sam Kbushyan and the Armenian-American Community. Armenchik took a trip down the memory lane and pained the picture fifteen years earlier working with Sam Kbushyan while Sam’s dad operated the Little Armenia Restaurant.

Honorary guest Harut Sassounian addressed the supporters with milestones that Sam Kbushyan had accomplished working in Los Angeles. Mr. Sassounian shared his community based knowledge and the very importance of Sam Kbushyan being a model-Angeleno and a candidate for the City of Angeles.

Before the closing remarks, Sam Kbushyan shared the upcoming events in the Council District 13 and also invited everyone to join his grassroots campaign movement to empower the community through civic participation.
